SigPlus® and SigCard1 software for Topaz signature pad/magstripe readers

NOTE: If your company has already provided you with software to sign documents electronically, you should not install SigPlus. Discuss software requirements with your IT department if you are unsure on how to proceed.

If you do not already have electronic signature software, please follow the instructions below to begin using your "SE" model signature pad with integrated MSR. Do not connect the pad to your computer until all steps are complete. If you do not have one of these devices, or if you don't see an "SE" in the model number, click here for a complete list of Topaz models and software downloads or the "signature pad lookup" link in the menu at the top of this page.

STEP 1		Download SigPlus software for use with Topaz signature pad to your computer's desktop by clicking the "download" image to the left.
STEP 2		Double-click on the "sigplus.exe" icon on your desktop to begin installation. When prompted to choose your model #, click either "T-L" or "T-S", depending on what most closely matches what is printed on the sticker on the back of th device. Depending on your security settings, you may need to log in to Windows as an "administrator" to begin the installation.
STEP 3		Download SigCard1 software for use with the magstripe reader to your computer's desktop by clicking the "download" image to the left. Complete installation by double-clicking the "sigcard1.exe" icon and following the instructions on the screen.
STEP 4 (Optional)		To sign Microsoft Word and Excel documents, download the SigPlus plug-in bundle by clicking the "download" image to the left. Save the file to your desktop. Double-click the "topazmsofficeplugins" icon to begin installation.
STEP 5 (Optional)		To sign Adobe PDF documents using Acrobat Standard or Professional 8, 9, X, or XI, download the GemSign bundle by clicking the "download" image to the left. Save the file to your desktop. Double-click the "gemsignplus" icon to begin installation. After GemSign plug-ins are installed, you will need to configure Acrobat to use the GemSign plug-in as the default digital signer.
STEP 6 (Optional)		To download a User Guide for your Topaz electronic signature pad, click the "Download" link at left and choose your model from the list provided.
